Nicole GorryEducating is Nicole's passion. She has a love for teaching and working with people to reach their health goals!
In 2018, Nicole started having shoulder pain from a mountain bike injury a few years prior. After x-rays and doctors appointments no one knew what the cause was. After a weekend of hard riding, her entire arm swelled up and she was later diagnosed with Paget-Schroetter Syndrome, a complication where the top rib pinches the vein that travels under the collarbone, causing a blood clot. At the time she was on birth control and, after finding out about the blood clot, was instructed by her doctor to quit the pill right away. After recovering from surgery to remove her rib, Nicole stumbled upon a book called WomanCode by Alissa Vitti. This book completely changed her life. She had no idea you could sync your daily life with your hormones and have stress-free periods. She realized that she wanted to help women better understand their cycles and learn to live in sync with their periods instead of against them. A few years later, she discovered her own hormonal imbalances that have challenged her to dig deeper into the topic of hormonal health. Her research led her to the Institute of Integrative Nutrition where she began studying to become a Holistic Health coach and Hormonal Health coach. Fully certified in October 2021, Nicole is on a mission to help people reach their full potential. As a high school math teacher and soccer coach, Nicole knows what it’s like to have a jammed packed schedule and feel like health is on the back-burner. She wants to help all people reach their goals by implementing small, manageable lifestyle changes. She is passionate about women and hormonal imbalances, but at the end of the day, wants to help anyone who is struggling to reach their goals. |
